Stephen Sommers to direct GI JOE Sequel

The different negative reviews of GI JOE: Rise of Cobra was mostly blamed to the director Stephen Sommers. It is heared that Sommers was lock out of the film's editing room because of a disastrous test screening. Though the director was given full freedom to do the film he did not give his best shot and has only little knowledge of the GI JOE mythlogy that leds to ruining the film. Due to the negative alligations Paramount may not let Sommers do the GI JOE sequel. On the other hand Lorenzo di Bonaventura spoke to Latino Review contradicting the rumors of the firing of Sommers. di Bonaventura as oppose to what many says states that Sommers was not ask to leave nor was not being fired. In fact he states that in contrast to that rumor about the editing of the film, the screen test had gone so well. All have been said, maybe we will again see Sommers in action with all of the lead actors and new additional actors of the GI JOE Sequel,or not!.
